Stock Market LIVE Updates | Sensex above 80,100, Nifty 50 holds 24,300 led by ICICI Bank, Infosys, Reliance

Stock Market LIVE Update: The Indian equity benchmarks opened at a record high on Thursday, July 4. However, the indices have now given up opening gains. The 30-share BSE Sensex is trading above the 80,100 mark, up 193 points or 0.24%. Nifty is trading above the 24,300 mark. The Nifty Bank index has fallen more than 400 points from its high and is trading below 53,000. HCLTech, TCS and ICICI Bank are this hour’s top Nifty 50 gainers. On the other hand, HDFC Bank, Adani Enterprises and IndusInd Bank are the top losers.

The shares of Lupin rose on a double upgrade from Kotal Institutional Equities. Wockhardt shares are up for the 12th day in a row and Moschip is up for the second straight session. Whereas, Bajaj Finance slipped into the red despite a strong first-quarter update. UltraTech Cement and IREDA are trading off intra-day highs.
