Indian benchmark equity indices recouped most of their early losses to close slightly lower in a volatile market on Monday, largely overlooking concerns from a new Hindenburg report alleging misconduct by SEBI chief Madhabi Puri Buch.
The BSE Sensex fell by 57 points, or 0.07%, to finish at 79,648.9, while the NSE Nifty dropped 20.5 points, or 0.08%, ending the day at 24,347.
