A 21-year-old Sydney man has been charged after allegedly using cryptocurrency to buy child abuse material.
Strike force detectives executed a search warrant at an address in South Grafton on Thursday around 6am.
During the search, police were able to locate two laptops, a mobile phone, MDMA, Ketamine and LSD.
All devices were seized.
Child abuse materials, including images and videos, were allegedly found on the devices.
A 21-year-old man was arrested and taken to Grafton Police Station where he was charged under Strike Force Angle.
He has been charged with seven offences, including two counts of possess child abuse material, possess prohibited drug, supply prohibited drug more than indictable and less than commercial quantity.
He was also charged with supplying prohibited drug more than or equal to commercial quantity, possess instructions for manufacture of prohibited drug, and hinder or resist police officer in the execution of duty.
The young man was refused bail and is scheduled to appear in court today.
